Why We Started This

We built Coatzin Interpretation LLC after years in the field, working appointments where clients told us the same thing again and again: it was the first time they had truly quality interpretation. That gap needed to be closed, so we set out to build something beyond the traditional language access agency. An interpreter and a translator are not the same. We handle the spoken word, the live exchange, the human moment where being understood actually matters.

Our work spans the settings where communication carries weight. We provide medical interpretation in hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and pharmacies, supporting the exchange between patients and healthcare providers. We handle legal interpretation for the moments where precision protects people. We cover conference interpretation for keynote stages and large gatherings, and corporate interpretation for business meetings, negotiations, and organizational events. We also step onto sets for film set interpretation, work quietly and carefully through mental health interpretation, and provide liaison interpretation for community individuals who simply want a personal interpreter beside them.

We come to you. As a field service that travels across Nashville, TN and surrounding areas, we meet clients on-site at their home, office, or property, and we also offer video remote interpretation when distance or timing calls for it. Scheduling stays flexible with both scheduled and on-demand options, serving individuals, businesses, and organizations alike. Whether the client is a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, an artist, or a neighbor navigating an appointment, the standard stays the same.

This business grew from a belief that language should never be a barrier to care, justice, or connection.
